Meetings & Events

The Barefoot Beach Chapter meets once a month at a nearby location. Unless otherwise designated, luncheons are held October through May on the second Wednesday of the month from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. We would love to have you join us at one of our meetings. Reservations are required, so please contact us at Join Us!

Our speakers offer a wide variety of subjects, including how to grow orchids, learning about frauds and scams, quilt-making, American History, authors, DAR subjects, music, local organizations, and much more! We also participate in special events – Constitution Week Luncheon, Wreaths Across America, Honor Flight attendance, commemorative activities, and other festive projects.

Our Committees report on many facets of life: National Defence, Service to Veterans, American Indians, The Flag of the Unite States, Womens’ Issues, Conservation, The Constitution, Project Patriot, Literacy, Historic Preservation — and that’s just a few!

Please join us at a luncheon and see that “DAR Makes a Difference” and we are tied together by service to our communities in friendship.
